We recommend students play some or all the previous year level games first. The previous year’s concepts must be grasped to help them with new mathematics concepts they will learn in their current year level. Some students may be advanced at certain concepts and therefore should also attempt the games a year level ahead of them. This caters for all levels of ability.
The worksheets do not list a year level, so students may be given worksheets from one- or two-year levels below or above their current grade. The worksheets are also a great way for you to gauge the students’ current level of ability. See our Parents/Tutors page for more details.
We also recommend students play a game many times before moving to the next game. This will build their confidence and establish a better understanding of the concepts needed to advance.
